What is noni plant?

Where does Noni fruit actually grow and what is the Noni plant? The name of the Noni plant is Morinda citrifolia. There are many different names for it from more commonly known Great morinda to simply Noni in Hawaii and Nono in Tahiti, Indian mulberry, and Ach in Hindi. Noni plant is a shrub or small tree and grows in Southeast Asia. Or at least that is where the Noni plant originally comes from. Noni plant has been extensively spread around by humans. Now it grows in India, Pacific islands all the way to French Polynesia. Tahiti for instance is one of the most known places for Noni plant.
